The Vellano family has been dealing with wine for at least four generations: a document found in the territorial archive states that the great grandfather of Maurizio already was, in the far 1867, 'a wine dealer'. Since then, the production technique has been transmitted from father to son, along with the love for good wine and the earth producing it : the Monferrato Casalese hills, so reach in tradition and history. Nowadays the company is run by Pierino Vellano, who firmly decided to continue this family tradition, even under the worst conditions. And now he has proved to everybody that he was right. Now that the quality is once again the essential factor in this global market, Pierino Vellano is continuing with growing devotion and obstinacy his life time engagement. This offer, is not only a contribution to the local traditional classical wines, but also aims to satisfy the increasing demands coming from a new and exigent market. The cellars have been recently renewed and are now equipped for a production of 25.000 bottles, mainly sold in the North of Italy and in some foreign countries.
