During the stay, our
guests
will have the possibility to know
about our wines and to visit our wine cellars. In fact it will
be possible to taste them and to participate to guided visits
that will be organized from time to time:
A) -
Countryside Taste
(for numerous groups also): it will
take place near our wine cellars in Camino,
and will be preceded by a guided
tour in the premises of aging and
bottling.
Here they will also be able to see the original artists’
pictures that have illustrated our labels.
3 kinds of wine will be offered
you to taste,
together with some
light snacks:
- 1 white wine (Cortese or Chardonnay) or
Grignolino
- 1 Barbera sparkling
- 1 Barbera still

B)
Typical Taste
(can replace the supper): it will
take place near our tasting
premises in Ca’ San Sebastiano, and will be preceded by a guided
tour in the premises of aging and
bottling near our wine
cellars in Camino.
Here they will also be able to see the original artists’
pictures that have illustrated our labels. Later, it will be
served a typical dish of our cooking, like `Piedmont’s Bagna
caoda' (sauce made with anchovies, garlic and oil, served warm
in a typical plate of clay that we put under it to keep it in a
standard temperature thanks to one small candle - every person
will have its own). This plate is served together with raw and
cooked vegetables (pepper, cabbage, anise, cucumber, onions,
Belgian salad, depending on the season) and raw beef of the
leanest calf and represents the ideal company for our Piedmont’s
wines, that they will be served you to taste:
- Barbera of Monferrato still or sparkling
- Barbera of Monferrato aged in wood (Pierin) or
aged in barriques (Lotu or Gioanot).
After, it will be served a typical cake, to be
able to taste one of our dessert wines:
- Moscato or Malvasia of Castelnuovo Don Bosco
Finally it will be possible a taste of our Grappa
of Grignolino or Barbera
Price per person:
Upon request, minimal 6 persons (for smaller
groups, after agreement)
C) –
Technical Tasting:
For smaller groups, up to 6-8 persons, it will take place near
our tasting wine cellar of Ca’ San Sebastiano, while for more
numerous groups we will use our Hall of Music - it will be
preceded by a guided tour of the premises of aging and
bottling
of Camino. Here they will also be able to see the original
artists’
pictures that have illustrated our labels.
3 kinds of wine will be offered
you to taste,
each one will be offered together with a particular cheese
chosen from the rarest and most important of our region – plus
local salami and a special type of bread called ‘grissini’ will
be offered:
- 1 Grignolino
- Barbera of Monferrato still or sparkling
- Barbera of Monferrato aged in wood (Pierin) or
aged in barriques (Lotu or Gioanot).
